Really great, I feel a metaphor here but there way too many of them.
What was your motivation / inspiration?

Ah, my main source of inspiration was a song called "In and out of love" by Armin Van Buuren. :) However, my motivation was the mood I was feeling at the time - I was more depressed than anything.

I really like the realism vs fiction of your art.
Altough it looks very realiostic in every way he's using a gas mask ans smoking maybe a metaphor for doing arm to others without that harm reaching himself.
